Three-dimensionality and a strong emphasis on structure are characteristic of my work. I have studied the integral qualities, stack ability, the strength and flexibility of anticlastic and cell like structures, and their possibilities of variation. The little spaces created within these structures and the shadows reflected by the light often play an important part in my work.

The idea is to find a base element. A shape that is impressive and simple at the same time. Then by combining and varying this element I come up with different kinds of entities. The element concept places quite many requirements on the basic piece; which has to be universal and interesting in such.
